Ferguson Ranch is just north of Gold Beach, on the south end of Oregon's coast-- about a square mile in area, but two miles long, laid along the ridge over the ocean.

Views are of the Pacific, the Coast Range and the Rogue River.

Soils are of the unusual (serpintine) types found in the Kalmiopsis Wilderness to the east.
This has resulted in beautiful, stunted trees and a wealth of wildflowers.
